Have you ever wondered what your dog is really thinking? Or wished you understood why they do some of the things they do? Perhaps you have a rescue and you would like to know what they’ve been through. Thankfully, it is absolutely possible to know these things!
Humans can communicate directly with animals on a deeper level than many realize.
How is this done? By connecting with them energetically, using a combination of intuition and telepathy. This is commonly referred to as Intuitive Animal Communication. Or Interspecies Communication.
Animals don’t have a verbal language that can be understood by humans. Instead, they send out an energy that we can intercept, if we listen carefully. With practice you can connect with your dog(s) on this level.
What is Telepathic Communication With Animals?
Telepathy is a form of non-verbal communication
Telepathy with animals is also called non-verbal communication. A way of communicating where you sense and feel each other and share thoughts, feelings and emotions energetically. This energetic exchange can happen over long distances. Animals use telepathic communication in the wild and there are countless examples throughout history of this “energetic” communication flowing across species – including human to animal and back again.
Examples of Telepathic Communication in the Wild
Telepathic Communication is a Normal and Natural Process
According to Rupert Sheldrake in his book, Dogs That Know When Their Owners Are Coming Home, “Telepathy has a long evolutionary ancestry. Telepathy is natural, not super natural, normal, not paranormal and is an important part of animal communication. Human telepathy needs to be seen in this broader biological context.”
Another beautiful example can be found in the story of Lawrence Anthony, known as the Elephant Whisperer. He was a conservationist in South Africa who saved the lives of two Elephant Herds who were going to be slaughtered by local authorities. Upon his death, both herds arrived at the family compound shortly after Anthony’s death. Lawrence Anthony’s son is quoted as saying, “They had not visited the house for a year and a half and it must have taken them about 12 hours to make the journey. The first herd arrived on Sunday and the second herd, a day later. They all hung around for about two days before making their way back into the bush.”
It would be easy to respond to that story in awe and then move on. But, I encourage you to think about the greater implication. The news of his death traveled telepathically (energetically) to the elephants. Furthermore, the elephants had such an important relationship with this man that they mourned his passing. This communication and kinship is possible for all of us.
The Energetics of Communication
There is more to communication then words, body language and facial expressions
According to research conducted by the Heart Math Institute, most people tend to think of communication solely in terms of overt signals expressed through facial movement, voice qualities, gestures and body movements. However, evidence supports the perspective that a subtle yet influential electromagnetic or “energetic” communication system operates just below our conscious level of awareness
Everything is energy, including thoughts and emotions. Your thoughts have an energy frequency. So do the thoughts and intentions of animals. In fact, your animals are always reading the intention behind your thoughts. They know when you will be leaving the house with or without them. If you pay attention, you will notice they often know this before you get dressed and put on work shoes or stay-at-home shoes. Many dogs know when their owners are coming home long before the car pulls into the driveway, even when the owners have a haphazard schedule.
How Does Intuition Play a Role in Telepathic Interspecies Communication?
Intuition is your inner-compass that lets you know when you are hearing things correctly
Intuition is an inner knowing, or gut feeling that defies logical reasoning. It involves arriving at conclusions without explicit evidence. Intuition seems to draw from accumulated experiences, emotions and patterns stored in the subconscious mind. It’s like an innate compass that guides us when we’re faced with uncertainty. With practice, your intuition will let you know whether or not what you are hearing is coming from the animal or from your own mind.
The Benefits and Blessings of Intuitive Animal Communication
Take the guesswork out of knowing what your animal companions are thinking and feeling.
An Animal Communicator acts as a kind of telephone line between you and your pets. They can hear, feel and see the thoughts of animals. They create and hold space for you to have intuitive conversations with your animal friends. It can take the guesswork out of solving problems and providing for their best life.
If you are struggling with a challenging behavior, a communication session can get to the root cause and the best solution. It will also take the guesswork out of knowing how they feel, what they like and what makes them happy. And once you open this line of communication with them, you will find it easier to communicate with them on a day-to-day basis. You will have a deeper sense of knowing what they are thinking and what they need and your bond will become stronger and richer because of it!
Ask Them Anything!
In my decades of experience working and living with animals, I know they are far more aware, wise and intelligent than we have been taught to believe.
You may be surprised at how much they know and how much wisdom they are eager to share. A while back I hired an Intuitive Animal Communicator to connect with my own animals. The first thing she revealed is that Quinn, my then 8-year-old Shepherd, told her I am hard on myself in my work as a dog training instructor. He clarified by telling her I spend a lot of energy worrying about how my students and clients are receiving my information and dissecting conversations I’ve had throughout the day. All of this is true. My stress and worry cause me to have a sensitive tummy. Which causes him to have a sensitive tummy, because all animals are natural healers and he is doing the best he can to help me out. I took this information to heart and am working on handling things in a healthier way.
That’s kind of intense, right? I shared this story to demonstrate the depth of what is possible. But, below is a list of common questions and scenarios – a good place to begin.
- I have a feeling my pet is trying to tell me something when he or she barks, meows or stares at me. What are they saying?
- My dog panics in certain scenarios; why and how can I help make it better?
- My animals are not getting along. How can I help restore harmony?
- How can I help my pet live their best life? What makes them happy? Are they feeling healthy?
- If you have a rescue pet, we can find out pertinent details about his or her past and learn what can help them in this new life with you.
- If house training has gone awry, we can talk to your pet and encourage them in the right direction and learn what they need from you to help them be successful
- If your pet responds differently to different people, we can find out why
- If your dog is hard to walk because they are reacting to things out in the world, we can find out why and also determine a solution.
- If there has been a big change in your household and would like to know how it is affecting your pets and how to support them, an animal communication session will help
- If your animal has experienced trauma, a communication session can help them and help you to know how to best support them
- All of your pets have a special purpose in your life. Learn what that purpose is.
Animal Communication for All Animals
Your animals are in your life for a reason. They are all eager to connect with you on a deeper level.
People often assume that while dogs might be eager to chat, cats are a different story. Not true! Cats are extremely wise beings and are just as eager to join the conversation. In fact, any and all animals you share your life with have something to say…and something profound to offer. All of them – horses, birds, bunnies, reptiles. All of them.

But we want to do what he needs help
Hi Steve, thank you for commenting. Clearly, these are two well-loved boys and you are doing all you can to help them. I have found, in these situations that an animal communication session can help. Because you will hear from them what their perspective is and how they feel about the situation. We can explain to them how stressful it is for you and then together try to determine what will help them get along, what they need to feel safe and loved.
